Steps towards water
This contains work of my design thesis. Project was in the old city of Ahmedabad, area called Panchkuva- a dense fabric comprises of homogeneous mixture of commercial and residential users and activities. Site is Located on Gandhi roand, one of the important and busiest road in the old city. Art is being a defined field or a product in our mind and in society. An attempt was being made to design a place which will be generated from day to day life and for which people don’t have to try to include it into their lives. In this nature of the building, it becomes important that how it respond to the immediate context, especially when there is a strong historical monument – a step well.
About Me
I, Kshama Prajapati, am an Architect having over 2.5 years professional experience in Architectural field.. I am currently working a studio of Architect Vijay Arya, Arya Architects, Ahemedabd. I have been involved in many projects of different scale. I was a key member in three big scale projects, namely (i) CIMS- Heart Care Hospital, Ahemedabad. (ii) Nocturnal House, Ahmedabad and (iii) Farm house at kensville near Nalsarovar. I have been involved starting from concept stage to current execution stage which also included design development and tendering process. Other than this I have solely handled small scale projects like residences, interior work, landscaping work. This process also included me co-ordination with various consultant, site execution and the client. My communication, public relation and leadership skill makes me a good team leader. I am good at detailing, designing and coordinating project. I have expertise in Autocad, photoshop, sketchup, indesign. I look forward to be working with you.
