Hi, my name is Leonardo de Andrade, and I'm a software developer and IT Manager who graduated with a degree in software engineering and an MBA in Business Management focused on IT. I’m very passionate l and multifunctional; I'm always working with my teams doing hands-on projects, working as both a developer and DBA together with my team and coaching them one by one, helping them to evolve in their career and providing outstanding results as an IT manager, a tech leader, and coach. Today my focus is to pursue a real opportunity in an international environment. I’ve already worked for multinational companies and traveled for these companies, but I dream of being relocated permanently to another country and from this new home, traveling around the world working with multicultural teams and places. To achieve this dream, I'm learning new technologies with the Microverse program and of course, learning about and understanding the kind of environment I am pursuing. Anyone who looks at me today might think: "Why is he demoting himself from a manager to a developer?" I’d just explain this decision by reciting Friedrich Nietzsche: "“know well what you feel like, and don't recoil from any pretext, because the universe will organize to dissuade you."To achieve higher goals sometimes we have to leave behind what could have been golden opportunities because those same opportunities could be an anchor that stops us from crossing the ocean and reaching our goals. Let’s improve each other?

Overhauled existing documentation and created additional documentation to assist with company-wide implementation of a new factory system, resulting in overall improvements in both human and technological processes and a decrease in expenditures. Identified bottlenecks and areas of friction in current operational processes and worked to improve them. Highlights include identifying and fixing a software bug that mistakenly led to the company overpaying select vendor fees by an average of 100%.
