Designsite has worked with Capitol EMI on web and digital marketing projects, promoting major music releases. Our latest effort was to create a dynamic and fun website for Brian Wilson, promoting the Beach Boys legendary unreleased SMiLE album, released recently after 44 years. In addition to the website, we created a marketing strategy, including original videos, a contest and social media promotions for Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. These projects helped to create intense interest in the album, resulting in higher than expected sales. Designsite also produced two highly successful podcast series, featuring new interviews with Brian Wilson and surviving Beach Boys members Mike Love, Al Jardine and Bruce Johnston, to promote the re-release of the band's seminal album Pet Sounds and another for their Warmth of the Sun compilation. Both series generated over 350,000 listens and helped expose the Beach Boys to a new generation of listeners.
