Living Room for Julia, Camarrilo, California
The client wanted to rip out the existing wood paneling and have a fresh look for her living room. She preferred cool colours. She entertained a lot of friends and needed the space to be more suited for that requirement. The entry to the living room was shifted to be from the center, than the side, so that two sets of seating can be arranged for entertaining. The colors selected have been cool hues of blue an green. Dark bamboo flooring has been given and the wood beams on the roof has been re-stained to match the flooring. The lighting has also been carefully designed. The fireplace has been given a fresh and clean look as Julia preferred a modern clean look over the elaborate and decorative.
