• Jun 2006 – Present A big 4 Consultancy Firm Consultant Since Joining the firm, worked in the fields of analysis, design and implementation, in addition to taking part in several non-IT projects. Moreover, took the role of coordinator for several major proposals. Project: SAS Activity-Based Management Implementation UAE o Improved the process of creating, cleansing, and validating data inputs to the SAS Activity-Based Management System, by streamlining and automating assignments transactions creation. o Took over the responsibility of SAS ABM Configuration and Fully Allocated Costing Model maintenance. o Designed and programmed a main deliverable, a reporting tool that produces highly-structured reports out of SAS-generated cubes that reside in a Microsoft Analysis Server, using VBA. o In addition to creating the training materials, took main part of coordinating the configured model training Project: Oracle E-Business Suite Implementation Saudi Arabia o Improved the process of uploading data into the Oracle system by streamlining and automating invoice and payment verification, distribution, and booking. o Analyzed and created system designs for potential add-on systems to Oracle, i.e. Billing system, Timesheet system, Employee Expense system, and Pier diem system. o Programmed and implemented the Pier Diem add-on application using Oracle Forms. o Took part in Purchasing, Payroll, and Finance modules setup; familiar with the functionality and technicality of Oracle Applications. • Feb – May 2006 Pella Windows and Doors (Fortune 100 firm) Murray, USA System Analyst/Designer/Programmer: o Designed a Productivity Tracking System using VB .Net and SQL server o The project aimed at capturing data from multiple fiberglass-producing machines into a central database, analyze those data, and produce reports to management summarizing the downtimes and productivity of the machines. o System outputs: dynamic, readable, and printable charts and reports. • Jul – Sep 2005 Bahrain Petroleum Company - BAPCO Awali, Bahrain System Designer/Programmer: o Designed and programmed a Methodology Organizer System using VB .Net and Microsoft Access. o The system automated the process of creating a web-site that shows the work instructions of IT projects out of Microsoft Word files. The system dynamically adds appendices to each Work Instructions upon some conventions added in the documents. o System outputs: web-pages, Word files, and PDF files that show the whole methodology. • Feb – Jun 2005 MSUconsulting Murray, USA Project Coordinator/System Designer/Programmer: o Designed and programmed a Manual Creator system using VB .Net 2003 and Microsoft Access. o The system automated the process of creating manuals by dynamically prompting runtime-created questionnaires that pertains to that manual. o The system is used by both administrators and clients, to expedite the manual creation process. o System outputs: Microsoft Word documents. • Feb – Jul 2004 Bahrain Modern Construction Co. Manama, Bahrain Project Coordinator/System Analyst/Designer/Programmer: o Conceptualized and programmed a new web-based system using Asp.net and Oracle 9.0 db. o The system manages the flow of assets among the available sites and handles asset requests from site managers. • Jul 03 – Feb 2004 Al-Moalem Institute. Jidhafs, Bahrain Project Coordinator/System Analyst/Programmer: o Conceptualized, programmed, and implemented a new computerized Registration System using VB 6.0 and Microsoft Access. o The system schedules courses, registers students, issues receipts, produces timetables, produces income and cash reports, etc.
