## BIO **<u>EMPLOYMENT</u>**   January 2009 to Present Office of the Prime Minister- Senior Communications Officer Government Communications ·   Develop and monitor the communications strategy for the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and individual ministries and agencies ·   Undertake communications research to direct individual communication campaigns ·   Assess communication strategies of ministries and provide feedback ·   Facilitate the Government Communicators Forum ·   Develop and maintain the Government Communicators Handbook ·   Develop appropriate regulations and guidelines for effective daily operations of Government Communicators ·   Develop Communications Campaigns on legislation on the legislative agenda ·   Coordinate the publication of a Government Directory of Services *<u>Achievements :</u>* ·   Development of an Advertising Policy for implementation across Government ministries and agencies ·   Coordinate the development of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago Communications Strategy for the period 2010 – 2012 ·   Coordinate and develop the Government Communicators Handbook ·   Coordinate and develop the 2010 Directory of Government Services of Trinidad and Tobago ·   Coordinate training sessions for Government Communicators ·   Facilitate at training sessions for Government Communicators on the topics of Crisis Communications, preparation of Communications Strategies and Government Communications and Advertising Policies ·   Provide consultation services to Ministries requiring assistance with the development of their Communications Plans and Campaign Briefs.         January 2006 to April 2008 Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA)-Communication and Marketing Officer ·   Market the activities of the CWWA ·   Develop and Implement the associations marketing plan in line with its 2010 Strategic Statement ·   Co-ordinate the work of the secretariat as it relates to affiliate organizations and country representatives ·  Promote CWWA annual conference, technical meetings and workshops ·  Publish a semiannual magazine, and keep the association core website and annual conference website up to date   *<u>Achievements :</u>* ·   Developed and Implemented all proposed programmes approved by the executive ·   Formulated **two** annual marketing plans with a budget of **$450K TT** which included **(4)** training sessions, **(2)** magazine publications and **(1)** youth public awareness campaign, each ·   Monitored and ensured all items in the marketing plan are profitable with a consistent achievement of **35% profit margin** per annum ·   Kept abreast of membership needs by conducting telephone interviews and on line questionnaires to identify needs and source solutions to meet membership needs.
