The heatmap shows that “anonymous” dominates across major object types—especially prints and photos—indicating many artworks lack identified creators.This code generates a heatmap to visualize the relationship between the most common object types and top creators in the dataset. Using Seaborn, it displays frequency counts inside each cell, with a color gradient (YlGnBu) highlighting higher values. The figure is customized with clear titles and axis labels for better readability, making it easy to identify patterns—such as which creators are most associated with specific object types.

Heat Map for EDA

This work addresses challenges in traffic light detection under adverse conditions such as fog and nighttime, where traditional bounding box annotations are unreliable due to blurred object boundaries and halo effects. To overcome limitations of manual annotation, a Boolean Map Saliency (BMS) method is used to automatically generate more accurate bounding boxes. The approach is evaluated using Faster R-CNN on the SHIFT dataset, demonstrating improved detection performance compared to manually annotated data, particularly in foggy night scenarios.
