I have a BA with major in English Language and Literature and minor in Romanian Language and Literature, a Certificate for Completion of a Course in Communication, a Technical Translator's Certificate. I am a Legal Translator certified by the Romanian Ministry of Justice. I have worked as a translator in a Foreign Trade Company for 10 years and as an Administrative Clerk and a Consular Clerk at the American Embassy Bucharest for 21 years. Since 2006 I have started freelancing and have translated fiction (Thrillers and Detective, Fantasy) and non fiction(Self help Philosophy, Fashion) books, Children's books, automotive, finance/banking, legal correspondence, technical and various other types of texts from English into Romanian, from Romanian into English, from French into Romanian and from French into English.
