Achievement • Promoted within 3 years of joining the bank from a Trainee to a Banking Officer and made the Head of Operations within another 15 months. • I successfully championed and completed the overall turnaround of branches in the worst 30 locations of the bank in terms of service delivery, ambience, complaints management, etc. And made them to be among the best 30 and in some cases among the first 10 branches in the bank. • I have successfully managed over 20 branches cut across the nation. • I have always achieved audit rating of over 80%. Process Improvement • Within 15 months of joining the bank; I developed an excel packaged that assisted and greatly improved the turnaround time of the cash service officer (Caso).The use of the excel improved operational productivity, efficiency and turnaround time in terms of early closure and also monitoring the accuracy of posting. • I also initiated and successfully launched a robust excel package that facilitated both the Tellers and Cash Teller Service Supervisor (Ctss/Cash Officer) to balance their books during downtime periods. • I facilitated the team charged with the improvement of overall operation processes and record accuracy. The team results included; - improved on-time delivery and turnaround from 70% to 95%, eliminated error rate by 95%, identified waste improvement mechanism with overall reduction of 65% and improved record accuracy of 98%. Customer retention rate also grew from below 70% to over 85%. • I adopted the use of SMS/CALL BACK feedback for clients. This increased process accuracy and improved staff’s awareness of actions needed to reach productivity and financial goals. It also increased customer’s confidence in the organization.
