MovieSearch - Django Website
Always had trouble finding out which streaming platform is streaming a movie/series. Hence, thought of creating a web app using Django Framework and a bit of APIs which has the following features: 1) Allows you to search for any movie/series on IMDb. 2) Allows you to see if a movie exists on Netflix/Amazon prime ,if it's present will show you the information, and link to the Netflix/Amazon page, and if not, will show you the other platforms where you can find/stream it (with links). 3) Allows you to search movie/series based on keywords. 4) Allows you to list all the appearances of any actor/actress. 5) Shows top 20 IMDb movies of all time.
About Me
I'm an India-based IT guy, who has done website development & hosting as part of his projects & internships. My tech stack includes: Python, Django, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
