Pipe repair robot
This bot reaches inside of large diameter pipes. It is the 5th generation that I have developed. I wrote the technical spec, machined the parts, and wired up the sensors, motors and electronics. Developed all logic diagrams users manuals. It runs using an IPAD wireless interface. It has a fiber optics teather that allows it to reach 2000' inside of the pipe. About Me
I have been working in New Product Development since I was 17 years old workking at my fathers injection molding company as a tool maker. My skills reach electronic board design to PLC logic and electrical schematics, yet my 3D skills in molding, metal fabrication are world class. I have lived in China doing electro mechanical and India doing software. I sold my semiconductor business in 2001 to Brooks Automation with numerous patents. My products are around the world working at all Intel, Motorola, IBM, chip factories. I specialize in automation and assembly lines, yet love industrial design. I worked at Nike for 4 months when I started my company MicroTool. I have worked on very large tooling projects for Kenworth, & Boeing.
