Loan Calculator - Amortization
ABOUT ---------- Loan payment schedule calculator. - Designed + Programmed by me, uses PHP, JavaScript & AJAX to render the results without refreshing the page. User enters information about a loan - APR%, Amount borrowed, Term of loan, the calculator will work out the minimum payment and then show the schedule that can be seen in the screenshot. DETAIL ---------- 1) When the user skips past required fields and hits the 'calculate' button, the empty fields are highlighted in red. 2) When the user hits the calculate button, the text on the button changes to 'Loading' and shows an incremental dot, the classic loading animation. 3) PHP and HTML are not mixed, the html is stored in a seperate file, the PHP page will render all output and then the same PHP file is used in the AJAX request. This is the cleanest method, where only 2 files are required - one PHP script, and one HTML template. I made another 19 similar calculators for the same
