Still from an animated short I created in 2011. I used Autodesk Maya for modelling and animating. The character, location and props were textured in Photoshop and the scene was rendered using Mental Ray. Techniques vary from box modelling to hair simulation, blend shapes and PaintEffect.

I also have many years of experience working in CG animation, including an in-depth understanding of anatomy, shot composition and the principals of animation. I have a thorough understanding of the feature animation pipeline from modeling through rigging, animation and rendering, and a good understanding of techniques required to animate characters that match the voice acting and the intent.
