I am a freelancer looking for opportunities in scientific research, transcription, document typing and conversion, data analysis, blog writing and editing, and other writing roles. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in Neuroscience and Behavior, with a Pre-Med Concentration and Minor in Italian Studies. I have experience working in mental health and eating disorders as a mental health counselor at a residential behavioral health hospital. I moved to Italy in September, 2021 for a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct an independent research study on alternative rehabilitation for substance use disorder at a therapeutic community in Northeast Italy. I also work as a research specialist for a lab in hepatology at Loyola University Chicago. Through my various roles, I have gained experience in all stages of research. I have collected, analyzed, visualized, and presented a number of research projects in the areas of hepatology, addiction, and gastroenterology. As part of my independent project, I conducted interviews and transcribed audio into word documents for qualitative analysis. I authored a number of blog posts for Substance Use, Stigma, and Society on Psychology Today.
