prototype of a "passiv-house"
The Lampion Pavillon is a prototype of a "passiv-house" with visible technological elements. It serves as an example of "passive-house"-technology and its standards. The pavilion can either be used for exhibition or temporary life. There is one multi-functional room with a technological column in the center. Depending on the use walls and sanitary facilities can be added. The roof of the pavilion consists of ETFE foil air panels with seven chambers - six filled with air and one with Nanogel - to suspend the insulation. The center column is equipped with two fuel cells (LabCell lc200), two single-room ventilators (InVenter 14r - 91% Heat Recovery) and a gas tank. The fuel cells produce sufficient energy for a small home. The pod is up to passive house standards due to the use of vacuum insulation panels (VIP; Ug = 0,2 W/m²K ), nanogel, as well as triple-insulated glass (interpane iplus 3ce; Ug = 0,6 W/m²K).
