I am a digital librarian by background and am a bit of a social media geek. For most of the last decade I have worked within the UK public and academic sectors. In that time I’ve gained a lot of valuable experience in several areas: managing website content, using social media to promote organisations and services, and creating infographics to promote key findings and make research more accessible. Training has also been a key aspect of my career so far and I have extensive experience in leading and facilitating the development of knowledge and skills in others. I am accredited by HootSuite University as a social media professional and also act as a brand ambassador for Piktochart, the data visualisation tool I use to create infographics using simple graphic design processes.
