AVOSA (Anand Vihar Old Student Association) is a society formed by a group of old students aimed at doing some public welfare. They have also started multiple scholarships for poor and needy students based on specific criteria. The website serves the purpose of bringing together all the old students of Anand Vihar and works as a directory or their information, latest events, photo and video gallery for all the events undertaken and so on. Currently, we are also in a process of elaborating the functionality to integrate payment gateway so that funding from student can be gathered online and also a process where people aspiring for scholarships can come and register and put their requests. Technologies Used: Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0, SQL Server 2008 R2, ASP.Net 4.0, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, LightSwitch, Silverlight, WCF RIA Services.
