Insulation control device for AC motors Insulation control device measures insulation resistance of the motor. It has 3 selectable insulation resistance levels: 1M, 5M and 30MOhm. Insulation resistance is measured in time intervals, when motor is switched off. Advanced control logic decides, whether motor should be disabled or enabled to operate, when any of fault signals (low insulation resistance, disconnection and short circuit of the measurement circuit) is detected. Fault condition is signaled by LEDs and relay.
