Not fact) Cross-browser compatibility is a big problem. Older browsers (as Explorer 10) not support new standarts. Flash + gif = all devices support.

Hey, all that was written below, is a fact. If you want the animation, I can offer you a very good solution. Banner on html and css. It will solve all of your questions, and the banner will be attractive and animated. I could develop it into a program Google Web Designer or Adobe Edge Animate. I think this is the best deal that you have now. Your banner will see on any device. If you're interested, write me and I will start to develop. Regards.

Hi there, just thought I'd let you know that there are new technologies available similar to flash that allow cross-platform compatibility including Mobile/Tablet and Desktop. These new technologies allow the same animated freedom as flash and don't have any issues. Animated Gifs are not outdated but as you are using photographs for your banner they will not give you the look you're after. Looking forward to working on this and I'll have my version with you shortly. OMGFX

I'd like to bid on this project but would suggest using an animated gif for your banner. Flash poses issues most of the time on sites!

Hello, would you consider skipping the Flash part of th project? Mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, etc) don't support flash, so you would be loosing a lot of viewers who browse the internet on the go.
