I have removed the editor's pick etc screen and placed it under the sidebar so the user can access the that along with the about us and policy screens. I forgot to mention, in order to let the user know that there are more categories/news below. I used the last news/category item visible on the screen half with a shadow effect. This experience is most commonly used in iPhone devices to tell the user that there is more below. Please let me know your thoughts.

Great design, well thought out. The only problem I have with the layout is full News view. I feel the pictures need to extend down a bit and the page needs to look more usable. Thanks for your entry.

NP man. Sure, I am on it. with larger image, I am thinking about having "share it via email" and "save to my favorites" button added along with the share button.
