Tattoo design
Greetings, I tried to follow your instructions and your sketch. I tried to not oversaturate, kept a space for an inscription, buddha on top. I tried to denote the lines and vines on top to be buddh a's robes but tried to keep things not too complicated. The common symbols for love and wisdom are there but in a more abstract way to make it feel as a whole idea and not a collection of separated symbols. I also attach a second picture showing how it would loop on the other side of the arm. and the ribbons in the middle are separated so you can adapt it to the length of your arm, and work how it would work on your elbow. the whole thing is just a sketch at this point, but in the complete piece, the shadows could work as a second pattern inside the basic shapes to give it more style.

the idea was that it wraps around the arm, in the second picture you can see how both sides would meet on the other side of the arm, but if you prefer I could create a different version with borders so it can worn on the outside of your arm.
