I want to revamp my current website for my consulting business. I just started freelance product development and engineering on my own, and have thrown together a fairly rough website that works for the time being. I want it to look a bit more polished than it does now since I am working primarily with design minded people. I have a hosted site through Bluehost and am using Wordpress. I am currently stuck on finding themes and plugins that will get me to my desired end result. I have a layout that I am going for, but need help creating a usable theme that I can adjust freely. I want to be able to add projects to my portfolio as needed as well.

I have attached an image for a mock-up for the new desired layout. It will need to be a simple, minimal, clean layout with white background. The tricky part is creating a responsive 3x3 grid of portfolio images to pop up upon clicking.
