Bayfield Learning is an online tutoring and learning company. We offer K-12 tutoring across all subjects, test prep (e.g. SAT, ACT, GED, GRE, etc), English as a Second Language (ESL), and other learning. The learning is delivered typically one on one via video call between the student and the tutor.

The essence of the brand is about helping people. If students fall behind in school, Bayfield Learning helps them catch up. If someone needs to learn English to be successful in a job, Bayfield Learning helps them. We want to evoke images such as warmth, helpful, kind, encouraging, growth, learning, development, etc.

Would like the name to be in the logo as well as some other icon that represents learning or tutoring. We are a digital first company and so the brand should evoke a modern feel. For example, an open book is often a symbol of learning. However this is a digital brand so a book might not be the best representation. A possibility is a lighthouse which evokes helpfulness and providing direction. On the other hand a lighthouse is a bit old school and can also evoke strong intimidating feelings. A light to lead the way is a possibility. Also maybe something to evoke a modern, digital approach such as a circuit. Maybe a screen / monitor. Maybe a Play button.

Desired color is something like royal blue. We want it to evoke feelings of helpfulness and maturity (i.e. not baby blue) while not creating a feeling of intimidation.
