For a web app called Kazaroo we need 2 completely different designs for an A5 flyer so we can chose the one we like best.

We have an original design that is outdated as colors don’t match anymore AND we have some internal discussion in the company on what the design should look: either professional, with just text and the QR code or more “fun” including one or more screenshots to pull the visitor more into scanning the QR.

About the app
Kazaroo is a webapp that gives visitors of AirB&B locations the option to scan a QR code to access a digital guide and shop to see all the information like the wifi code, how the microwave works, what cool stuff to do is in the neighbourhood and to order extra food and services

For this we place a A5 flyer with a QR code in each location. The A5 flyer has two sides that are the same. One side is English, one side is Dutch. The flyer should contain:
- enough info for the visitor to understand why he should scan the QR code (whats in it for him)
- the actual QR code
- Optional some example screen from the app.

What we need
So we need 2 designs:
- One that is more professional, focus on the big QR code and some text to explain why the user should scan the code. It might be better to no use the screen in this design
- One that is more expressive, more colors, the example screen and the QR code

Important
- It’s a web app so the QR code opens a URL. So we don’t need the “download the app in Google Play or Itunes” logos
- We focus on mobile users so it should give the user the idea to scan the QR with his phone.

Examples/images
- We added the original design as a reference. Be aware: we don’t like this design so don’t copy it!
- We added 2 screenshots you can use in the designs. One is a bit bigger than the other but they basically show the same, so you will have to chose one
- We added the logo that you can use in the designs

Because of the large number of entries Ill stick to giving stars as feedback. In general: if you get 1 or 2 stars it means that I dont like the colors or font, or that you show Google Play and Apple store buttons (we dont need them as its a web app so the QR code opens a URL) or there's no step 1 (Wifi + credentials) and step 2 (scan code)

Entries are getting better. One additional idea: maybe it would be good to show 2 steps on the flyer: step 1 is to connect to the Wifi (show some random network name and password they can use) and step 2 is to scan the QR to get all the info they need.
