I need someone to design me a vector logo for my website. I would like the logo and symbol to represent and give the vibe of freshness, clean, and hip-ness with a natural materials edge by using wood, concrete, rock, etc.. or whatever you think looks cool as a background or the writing itself.. SurfaceFinder will showcase products for emerging surfaces of all types used in your home or office that you might see on Extreme Makeover Home Edition type shows. It will be a place people can go to find out about these products and purchase them. Products of all types from carpet to siding to paint...etc.

The colors I would like to utilize can be seen in the Ford ads they have had lately. They utilize blues, greens, greys, and black I think. I would also like for someone to try some "texturing" like putting the logo on Wood that shows the grain or Concrete...you know...something edgy with color!!

I would like you to logo the name Surface Finder and possibly do something with the S and F, and to also create a symbol like icon I could put on the site and letter head. So to be clear Logo with whole word.... and symbol with S F.
I would like something different than just a colored font...I like thick letters. When i do a search on "Famous logos" it helps me. You might even do something with the colors and textures of the letters signifying different surfaces, maybe something with a house, maybe a magnifying glass....Give it your best shot.

I will need all permissions and rights. I need all files in order to resize if needed. Stuff you would need if you did the contest.

I want to thank everyone!!!!!!! WOW..what some great designs! Can I have my American Idol moment? This was hard to judge, and on your part I know it was hard to figure me out. Thank you all graciously for your patience with me. I want to give artistic shout outs and I thank you specifically...pkapil, jerrydkv, winkletriple, Mohd00, olivermxjp and especially airbrushkid and alaxandracol. Thank you! I sent out your designs to my team and it came down to Mohd00 and olivermxjp....drum roll please.........and the runnerup is ...im sorry Mohd00 ("olivermxp",meanwhile.. is clasping his hands over his mouth as the tears flow, and he realizes he's the winner.) Congrats Olivermxp!!!!! It came down to font selection...Thanks everyone!

I would like to see someone try some texturing using wood, concrete, building materials....etc..either as a background to their design or in the design writing and symbol since the website is about finding surfaces used in super mod homes that you see on extreme home makeover,mtv cribs, and shows like that.   I like what you did on your new one. If you could blend what #11 created and make the "symbol" letters and the "SurfaceFinder" name letters "S and F" the same that would be cool, but use the same font as whatever was used in the "symbol". I really like both of your designs. I like how # 11 spread the colors into the letters from the symbol he made. I just wish it had some green in there somewhere. If these two were melted together in a cool way I would be satisfied. I really do appreciate your time!!

Check out #11 , 16 and 17 on the contest. If you someone could blend what they created and make the "symbol" letters and the "SurfaceFinder" name letters "S and F" the same that would be cool. Just make the font a step or two bigger on the S and F in the name than the rest of the letters, but use the same font as whatever was used in the symbol. I really like both of your designs. I like how # 11 spread the colors into the letters from the symbol he made. I just wish it had some green in there somewhere. If these two were melted together in a cool way I would be satisfied.
