     Circle background could work. We just need to make sure the icon itself is still visible as most of my visitors use the website on mobile.

  One more general remark: the icons in the attachment are ugly. I dont want. those. The attachment was only to show where / on what location I will be using icons so you know where they will come.

     No the icons in the screenshot were only to show the location and use. I don't like those icons at all. The contest it to come up with unique icons
