A student learning to program. I learn visually and by examples. working on a dice project and would want to get various approaches to it.

Project:
A dice game with different versions.
-versus another player
-versus computer

versus another player
-should be able to choose the end value. (first to reach 50)
-turn based (after player one, player 2 plays)
-should be able to make bets ( a box where each player can type in a value to simulate money)
-show cumulative player score after each roll (if my previous dice roll was 3 and my current dice roll is 5, my score would be 3+ 5 =8)
-when one player hits the end value 50, end the game and display the winner
-the winner wins all the bet points of the other player
-if a player quits the game when the game is playing, he loses all he's bet points

versus computer
- same as above

user interface
-a green grass background
-simulate a shaking cup before rolling dice
-a rolling dice effect that is dynamic. (here's a link to a dice that rolls and return values after the roll)
