  Dear CH, I've done research on hearing aid, and I found out that there are 3 types. In the canal (ITC), in the ear (ITE), and behind the ear (BTE). From the attachment, are you probably looking for the attachment device for the BTE type of hearing aid? Since the other two types are fitted inside the ear, and I think that any mechanical attachment for them will require the hearing aid to be modified for the attachment device connection, unless we want to make the user feel uncomfortable with the attachment device.

     You are correct in your research. The BTE is what I am focused on.
     My project is two fold
     1. A preventative to loosing them because they sometimes fall off
     2. If hearing aids are attached to the arms of glasses they are more discreet. Many people refuse to wear them because they are vain. The design is really meant to camouflage the aid on the glasses arm

  I don't want a redesign of the hearing aids because there are too many.
  I just want a device that could attach the hearing aids to the arms of a persons glasses

  #guaranteed Do you want the design to be in 3D? Are you looking to redesign the hearing aid completely ? or should it still look like a regular hearing aid?
