  For everyone's situational awareness, I am looking for the design to cover 9.185 inches (wide) by 4 inches (tall). I think I am leaning more towards an illustration than a collage of photographs. If you decide to use photos, please don't include random people, and please try to stray away from adding words. I'd rather the art speak for itself. Thank you for all of your time and effort.   I am looking for a bit more detail, perhaps on the same level of detail as Karl's submission. I really want this to be unique and unlike any sort of souvenir mug you might pick up. Some possible ideas to throw around might be key land marks from both places. Statue of Liberty, Time square, Waikiki Beach, the North Shore, general landscape or skylines from both places, maybe even include us somewhere together. She's a short blonde with blue eyes, and I'm tall with brown hair and blue eyes. Maybe even having her dressed up like a proper new Yorker and myself in an aloha shirt. Just some ideas I'm throwing out there. I'm really open minded, but detail is important. She is a graphic designer herself and I'd like to impress her.

     I would look up pictures. I did mention some details to Elsayed that might be good to include, but I am open to ideas. I would really appreciate any fine details you decide to include. And remember, this is supposed to be a romantic gesture. I don't want it to look like a coffee mug you can just buy in any store. I want it to be unique.

     I think I would like a full illustration just because I think she would appreciate the little details. I'm not entirely sure of the dimensions of the mug. Probably looking to put on a 15oz mug. Still not entirely sure... Thank you for reaching out and asking.
