We have a new company called Allied Research Partners Canada. The company invites US firms to move their scientific research and development activities to Canada to take advantage of financial and institutional incentives. The visual effect should express concepts of partnership, research, primarily, and success and cooperation as secondary elements if possible. The successful designer should propose a logo and one or two other visual elements, and if awarded, we will ask for the full Wordpress and Powerpoint work to be completed afterwards. Since the company will have to produce material that is bilingual, the logo itself should not have words in it (or initials), but the name of the company can be inserted beside or below the logo.

If I may add, the representation of the same logo against white and dark backgrounds, and at different angles, is not necessary. A single plain representation against a light or dark background (your choice), without extra entries for different perspectives, is appreciated.

The original instructions stated that the name or the initials of the company shouldn't be part of the logo, since the name would be translated and wouldn't match anymore. Many of you have submitted work that is simply a stylized writing of the company's name. We need a distinctive and meaningful mark to represent the company.
