I’m looking for a logo that communicates what my music is about and who it is for- adults who’ve “lived life” and experienced life’s ups and downs and come out the other side stronger for it. I want my music to make people think and help them Live Life!
  I was in a band in my 20’s and co-owned a recording studio. Since then I’ve raised a bunch of kids, had a bunch of careers, and a bunch of husbands. Lots of ups and downs all boiled down into my music and this album.

Artistic statement:
To make music that reflects universal themes such as love, betrayal, forgiveness, inner struggle, inner reflection, isolation, sorrow, opposition, pain, rejection, an appreciation for life, happiness, character and joy in human relationships. There are times when things don’t make sense in life. Music has the ability to break through and create order where none existed. Music can express emotions in a way that the spoken language cannot. In my life, in my darkest times, I could choose to listen to music that would lift my soul or that would help me to understand that someone else had been where I was.   My hope is to reflect what I know to be true and that is; Music communicates the emotion and shared experience across humanity.   I would share that experience, my music, with you.

Artistic Philosophy:
I want to live every day to be present for the people that I claim to love and to try to live with the understanding that I am only as good as my last benevolent thought. What my thoughts are is the person I have become.   Having said that I try to be self-forgiving and remember that the universe has been around a lot longer than I have been and will exist, in one form or another, long after I am gone. Therefore, I cannot take myself so seriously that I forget to enjoy the people around me because I truly believe that the only “things” we take with us when we die are our relationships with other people.
I have lived long enough to know that love and suffering often go hand in hand and that if don’t have one you likely don’t have the other. Most people live with a certain amount of fear of one thing or another. The people who free themselves from fear are able to love the people around them the most, even the ones undeserving of that love.

Music can be a universal extension of emotion in one form or another and transcends the human ability to express words. Music can heal the heart and give salve to the soul. It can connect us as we experience the sounds together.
