I am looking to have a logo recreated and/or updated.

I am helping /donating to an organization that has the attached logo. The organization helps soldiers and is a non-profit organization. It has been there logo for over 15 years but it is not in any good formats. They would want to have it the same or maybe a small update to be modernized to be abstract or Iconic.

The new logo needs to be in vector format so they can make t-shirts or other items.
