IP Camera Hardware Engineer

I am looking for an experienced IP Camera Hardware engineer to help with Chipset firmware for an off the shelf IP Camera. Need several phases of work.
Phase 1:
Document the high-level capabilities of the hardware components in the existing (shipping) unit (most of this has been done already but listed here for completeness). And if any changes are required to meet the new product requirements.
Document what firmware is being used and what it includes “off the shelf” versus what has been configured/modified/added to enable the current hardware configuration.
Specifically, as it pertains to the P2P communications stack, this is unknown to us. We need to understand if this is provided with the silicon chip license or separately acquired and modified to work on this platform. Identifying that and what it uses or how it’s configured is necessary to get to phase 2 with confidence.
There is an RPC mechanism to control the camera remotely, this too is unclear how much is “off the shelf” or custom built for this device. Understanding what it is and what ‘protocol’ it uses is needed.
What if any ‘custom’ or open source software is running on the device (not vendor provided or in the OS distro) to enable the existing features. Trying to understand what needs to be removed or replaced for clean IP/rights. The intent is not to do an exhaustive IP scan on this but anything high level that stands out as obviously not part of the vendor/OS package.
Identify which embedded OS and development platform we could/should use to modify the firmware based on the existing working product.
Identify solutions and if possible POC the following technical requirements to mitigate phase two risks:
