I am looking for someone who can search academic publications for a subject involving a popular news website in the U.S. I am looking for a rough bibliography (APA) with the addition of direct links or copies of the abstract for each piece. Academic works can include conference papers, theses and peer-to-peer published materials. There is not a lot immediately available, so I am looking for someone who can be a bit creative in searching so that more information can be found.
ASSIGNMENT:
Academic articles, conference papers or theses on Matt Drudge, or The Drudge Report.
The same types of academic articles, etc. on “Breitbart News Network” or any previous name.
Articles in journalism/media industry publications and websites about Matt Drudge or The Drudge Report. Many articles will come from the 1990s – while those might be okay, if they focus on how the business was set up and how it started, I am most interested recent coverage in the last five years or so. I don’t just want pasted copies of Matt Drudge article’s, but articles detailing relationships with other news outlets (such as Breitbart, Fox News, etc.) or news aggregators and influence.
The above is the priority.
The following will be used to support information and research involving the above topic. I am looking for articles in major publications (peer-reviewed ) in the last 3-5 years for the following:
· News aggregators
· News sources and perception (esp. involving politics and government)
· bias in U.S. journalism,
· Media and agenda-setting
· online journalism and information supersaturation,
· media literacy and politics.
· Political journalism
While I would like the references in APA format - since this is a working document, I would also like copies of abstracts, if available. If not, I will use the citations to read further.
