I am looking for a skilled C++ programmer to develop an LLDP capture program for Windows. The program will be used to capture LLDP information like ChassisId, PortId etc. It should also grab the currently connected wifi connections SSID
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in C++ programming language
- Experience with LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol)
- Strong understanding of Windows operating system
Key Requirements:
- Develop a C++ program to capture the primary Ethernets LLDP data on Windows
- Ensure minimal debugging requirements for seamless operation
- Implement LLDP functionality to accurately capture relevant data
This program must capture this information without using WinPcap, or NpCap or any other library. It also should not require the installation of any third party software. It should output the data to the console and write the data to a text file and get the path of the text file from some whatever kind of configuration file. You need to make sure you are grabbing the primary Ethernet that is connected and up.
