My primary need is editing for technical accuracy with respect to the square sailing terminology I use in the manuscript. In other words, are my descriptions of the sailing portions of the MS technically correct? I need someone with prior Age of Sail or square sailing editing experience. The sailing descriptions comprise only ~5% of the manuscript, and I could provide those portions separately. However, if there is an editor with both sailing terminology experience and general copy/line editing experience, I would entertain that scope of editing services as well. And further, if there is an editor with that experience plus Story Grid Method certification (Shawn Coyne''s editing process), I would entertain their bid, also.
I have attached a sample paragraph describing a sea chase between two topsail schooners.
