Build a new web store for our website - CodeWolves

Our current web store was built in 2006 and we think it’s time for an update.

We're scraping the site as a whole and deploying a new one to refresh the look of our website. The logos are to remain as-is. Otherwise, all is fine as long as it looks minimalist and professional.

Here are some mandatory requirements:

- web store site utilizing ASP and MS Access db (MS-SQL is an option we're willing to look at)

- rotating banner on home page

- customer signup page with mandatory company name, customer contact name, company address, shipping address, email address, at least one of cell phone, office phone, or home phone, PST No. (non mandatory field), and notes (non mandatory field)

- signup notification email sent to both customer and admin email address

- customers may be active or inactive, where members are inactive upon signup (requires authorization) and inactive members cannot login

- customer login required to show categories, products, and price

- shopping cart that's saved

- multiple products may share the same sku/item code

- product search by sku/product code

- admin backend to maintain users products and product categories

- products can be hidden from customers

- products can be marked as Available, Sold Out, or Coming Soon (or similar)

- products have the following descriptions: product code, product name, category, subcategory, multiple "color and size" text fields for ordering (eg. "large and red", "small and red", "small and blue" etc), price, and description (non-mandatory text box)

- multiple image for each product that expand when highlighted

- customer checkout shows order for customer to review

- checkout only shows total of the products ordered

- customer may add a comment to the order

- customer order is sent out to both customer and admin; afterwards, order is deleted

Some good to have requirements:

- product search by product name

- one product may belong to more than one category/sub-category

Sample customer workflow:

1. login

2. selects category

3. selects an available product

4a. orders what color and sizes are available

4b. cannot order colors and sizes that are not available

5. repeats steps 2-4

6. cannot select an unavailable product (sold out or coming soon)

7. customer can search for a specific product and repeats steps 2-6

8. review shopping cart at any time, shopping cart is saved in db and can be retrieved later

9. customer checks out, order is placed (no money or payment information is collected via website)

10. the order is emailed to both the customer email and the admin email

Sample admin workflow:

1. login to admin backend

2. update product availability

3. add new products (enter sku, name, prices, color and size, price, and description), upload pictures

4. add/remove product color and size

5. add/remove product categories and sub-categories

6. re-assign product sub-categories

7. re-order products
