Hello,
I am looking for anyone who is willing to work alongside me to help Illustrate and publish an online webcomic on Webtoons, a popular source of webcomics that makes it easy for many creators to get their work recognized by a large audience. This also means that you can have a chance of gaining a lot of recognition as an artist. How is this different from just creating your own webcomic on Webtoon? I have established a story already, and you will not have to spend a lot of time worrying about the nitty gritty details of forming a good story and dialogue. However, if you wish, you can revise and work on the plot with me. The reason I have posted this job is because I don't have a lot of free time on my hands to draw my ideal type of comic, but enough to write a detailed storyline and script for it. I will be able to offer concept art sketches, however, to make the process a little easier.
You also may have noticed at this point that I have not made any payment offers, but that reason is that I believe that whoever helps me make this comic come to life should have their fair share of the money; hence making this job into more of an investment deal. (Although my budget says fixed price; that is not really applicable here as what you earn may vary) I plan on using Patreon, a large platform that allows readers and fans to contribute monthly donations to a particular Creator whose work they support. Hence, if this comic grows and earns 200 dollars a month, you will get 50% of that monthly. Of course, as it takes time for a comic to grow, I would not expect to immediately gain over 100 dollars in support from just a month, however, with your effort, this may turn out well. Again, I may not be offering too much right now, but work-wise, you will be able to decide how much work you want to do each week; however, the minimum will still be around 20-40 panels per week. Art-wise, I am hoping for the artist to be able to draw humans and also illustrate good landscapes as that will also be a major art element in my story.
I am aware that I am asking for a lot without a guaranteed pay, but if you are interested, we can talk everything out and clarify any details that you are not sure about. Once again, I am not even asking you to work as much as part-time - I just want someone who can work alongside me to illustrate a webcomic with me. Lastly, lengthwise, this project may take anywhere between 1-3 years depending on how much time you spend working, but as episodes get created, they will be uploaded timely to gain audience and such.
