iPhone App (Feeler)

This is just a feeler. I need to find out if what I want is possible without disclosing too much detail.

This is a very basic overview of what my project requirement will require.

Phone app for Apple IOS

Want it to meet the requirements to be hosted on the Apple Store

The App will feature the capability to adjust certain settings. I will just use volume as an example.

These are the 'i dont know if it can be done' questions.

Can an app be built that understands the music format Apple allows to be downloaded to the phone via iTunes?

Can an app be built that can pull or use music that is on iTunes or Spotify? Not pull as in download from iTunes or Spotify but capture the music. So the app that i want developed, if i want to listen to a song that is on iTunes or Spotify, from the app we create, can that be done?

And, for that session, is it possible for the app to create a file extension that can remember a given session. So if the app listens to song x, and i close the app and don't want to go back in and have to recreate the session, but more open a previous session that remembers song x, is that possible?

The reason for this approach is i don't want to get into legal issues with downloading music. So its more, essentially holding the music in a buffer so to speak, than it is recording and downloading. If that makes sense?

It will also be a monthly charge so i would need it tied to an account.

If you feel this can be done and think you can do the work, please message me. I do not want to bid this out without an SLA etc. as I dont want to reveal what the work involves due to concerns of the idea being stolen.

And I know it will be difficult to answer without knowing the entire project, but I am looking for a ball park price on developing an app for iPhone.

The $25 is more for your time. If this work can be done, a project will be created.
