NodeRed - Improve the logic behind turning on electrical sockets

HI there,

I use NodeRed to control home automation.

I have a set of rules that look at how much excess solar I am generating (generation less consumption) and then turn on a number of smart switches around the house.

The problem with my current configuration, is that each switch is set to a different excess amount, based on the application connected to it. And so when the sun suddenly starts to shine bright, multiple switches turn on at once, which then causes a deficit, and so they turn off again.

What I am after, is someone who can update the configuration so that when excess solar increases, switch A is turned on first, it waits, it then evaluates if there is enough power to turn on switch B, etc

The reverse to apply when excess power drops, turn off switch C, wait, evaluate if switch B needs to be turned off.

The goal is between 0800 and 1900, export/excess to be +/- 50w

Hi, January is my favorite month too. There should be a randomly generated, but within a range, delay in switch alternation based on input or output fluctuations. It could be 3 to 5 minutes. And even within the realm Lagi

Hi. I'm an electrical engineer, and an expert node red programmer. I can solve your excess energy management problem successfully. Let's have a discussion on the way forward.
