Add Store Locator to Joomla website

We would like to add a Store Locator program to our Joomla website. Currently we have a Joomla html article that is used - its a complete mess. Its hard to edit and is not WSIWYG - we make one change and see ten others.

So we want to add something that will make for a nice, easy to use store lookup. It should be modern and nice.
It should be able to:
- Display nearest stores based on customer address, country, region, etc.
- Display all stores by default
- List all of the stores on one page.
- Always list the main office #1.
etc...
Besides the basic functionality, we want it to look nice and match the rest of our site.
On our previous website, we tried to implement WebMapPlus but the results were less thna ideal and we never made it to production. But this gives a little look at what we are looking for:

We've looked at several of the available modules on the Joomla Extensions directory. None of them look nice enough to use without modification. So is beyond our abilities at this point.

This project assumes we'll be buying a module (or using a free product) and then using the freelancer to modify it. We are looking for a Freelancer who has implemented this functionality before.
We'd like you to recomend the module to use. We are not interested in any modules that require a subscription.

This site has a good one but does require the user to pick their region. But we like the graphic. It might be flash as well.

Ideally, we're looking for an independent freelancer who has implemented a stroe locator for Joomla before. We want someone who can do good CSS work and is reliable. This is the first project. We have many other small to medium Joomla projects if the Freelance likes us and we like them. This can provide a nice amount of work for the next year.
