ASP.NET Control Development

We are looking for one or more developers that have experience creating commercial/advanced ASP.NET controls like Grids, Calendar Controls, Menus, and so on.

The developer must be experienced with the following:

* Creating Properties

* Design-Time Support

* Adding Embedded Resources

* Various Rendering Techniques

Familiarity/Experience with ASP.NET 2.0 Features are a plus:

* Skinning

* Smart Tags

* Atlas/Ajax Support

* Etc.

We prefer all development to be done in C#, but VB.NET may also be acceptable if your control development skills are very advanced.

We will expect to see examples of your work.

We have 5 controls we plan to develop in the next 4 months. We have JavaScript prototypes working already.

PLEASE CREATE A PRE-BID FIRST...We would like to narrow down potential coders before providing the details of the initial control we would like you to bid on.

To help us decide if you have the right cost/capability mix, let us know how much you would charge to create a control "exactly" like the Calendar control provided by ComponentArt. This means creating the control without using any code from ComponentArt.

We have advanced JavaScript experience, and will generally provide a fully working JavaScript prototype to begin with, so keep that in mind.

We also have design resources that can assist with the look and feel of a control.

Your job would be to turn the JavaScript prototype into a robust ASP.NET 2.0 control. All work will be confidential, and we will own exclusive rights to all source code, etc.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
