I have a small web site that needs to be converted from ASP to PHP. There are a total of around 60 .asp files, but most have very little ASP in them, and a lot of that is nearly identical code inside the files. (source file includes, calls to the database to check userid and group membership, etc.)
There is a forum section that uses Web Wiz Forums that needs to be converted to PHP based forums, including existing posts and user logins.
It does use an MSSQL database, but I have already converted to MySQL with a commercial tool. I also have a full backup copy of the existing database if you need it. The new site is a hosted LAMP site and an FTP account will be provided for uploading new code and testing.
Please send a PM with information that is related to MY PROJECT. Canned an automated bids will automatically be rejected. THIS IS NOT A DESIGN PROJECT! SPAM bids that list all of your past design experience and examples will be rejected.
To summarize what I need done:
1. Convert around 60 ASP files to PHP. They are clean and were written by a professional programmer.
2. Convert existing Web Wiz forums (posts & members) to PHPBB or something equivalent.
3. Regular updates on the new site. I want to see working files on the new host before I will fund escrow again (I have the money in my account already.) The last two people that I awarded the project to have wasted ONE MONTH of my time and I have ZERO results to show for it.
4. COMMUNICATE with me. Do not leave me hanging for over a week, only to tell me that something came up and you can't complete the job. I've very easy to work with, just please tell me WTH is going on.
