Dynamic check box in ASP Classic

trying to use dynamic checkboxes in a form and then retrieve in post form

the creation of the checkboxes is no problem - but retrieval of the data is not working

We are looping through a database table to create

<input type="checkbox" name="C<%=rs("xid")%>" checked value="ON"><%=rs("Name")%>

on the poast form - we are again looping through the form and tried to use something like this -

<%

if [url removed, login to view]("C&=rs('xid')&") = "ON" then

%>

but does not work

I need the code that will make the if statement work correctly

## Deliverables
