This project involves scraping well-published data from other sites, storing on a db e.g mysql, processing and representing new data on a new php based website, within sortable report tables.
A) Scrape on a twice daily basis, without foreseeable obstacles, from real estate data from websites e.g. r e d fi n . co m for each new listing in California, USA (this to limit resources for this phase; however architecture should be scalable to include nationwide data):
Specifically, retrieve data regarding all homes, condos and townhouse for later "search criteria": List Price, Sales Price, #Bedrooms # Baths, Sq. Footage, year built, type of property, lot size, parking, community, status, M L S #, date listed, date sold.
"Low," "Estimate," and "High" values for

B) Create website for searching within search criteria:
Range for each of these : List Price, Sales Price, #Bedrooms, # Baths, Sq. Footage, year built, lot size, date listed (range), date sold (range)
and "choose any" (check boxes for) type of property, parking, garage, community, status,
Provide an adjustable search weighting for calculating home "Est. Value"
