Drupal 6, Views Exposed Filters Update

I have a site that has search functionality built in views for version 5 of Drupal that I would like upgraded to version 6. Please refer to the pictures attached. I need picture 2 to look like picture one. The text description is as follows. We created a view that has exposed filters. This enables a set of values that can be input in the URL. The URL takes these inputs from a form which we embed in a block that is PHP enabled. The block queries the db for all possible values and creates the drop down boxes. Once a drop down is selected the form updates the view (without a click on search) to reveal only those listings that match the new criteria. If you are so inclined I wouldn't mind help theming the result as well. This should be a quick project for someone with Drupal 6 and Views 6.x-2.8 experience.
