I have forms on my site that send a copy of enquiries to me and a copy to the advertiser. The forms are being abused so I want a script that will stop any forms being submitted to my advertisers if more than a certain number are submitted from the same IP or email address within
a set time period.
I need to be able to determine/alter the number and time period along the lines of 10 enquiries in any 24 hour period.
I need all completed forms sending to me in real time but the copy to the advertiser needs to be held and not sent if there is subsequent abuse of the system by the person completing the form. I envisage a holding period of about an hour but this needs to be variable.
I need to be able to see the enquiries that are not going to be forwarded to the advertisers and have a manual override that will enable me to send on the enquiry if it appears ok but has exceeded the parameters I have determined.
People are trying to scam money from my advertisers and typically they fill in hundreds of forms on my site in an hour - when this happens I don't want even the first couple of completed forms to be sent to my advertisers.
I want it to appear that all enquiries are going through ok even when there is abuse.
I need to be able to ban Ip and email addresses.
I need to be able to put the advertisers email address as a carbon copy in the form on the page advertising their goods. As soon as they put their goods on my site I need them to be able to receive enquiries and currently the dynamically generated pages showing their goods pull their email address from a mysql database and insert it as a carbon copy in the form heading - although I prefer the addresses were not able to be seen but I don't know of another way of achieving the instant usability of the form without any manual input.

This sounds like a project that is right up my alley. I work a lot with php, CGI and e-mail devilery. I don't see any problems with finishing this project rather quickly.
