MSN Status check for a website

I'm looking for a php solution (or perl, or python) to check MSN account status (whether it's online or offline, no more). This script has to return 1 if online, else 0 (or true // false). It must _not_ use services such as [url removed, login to view] (i.e. it has to be completly independant).

## Deliverables

Complete source code, with comments and explaination. It can be under GPL or other licenses like that.
