***CODER SKILL TESTING QUESTION (NEWLY ADDED)*** I have had several bidders who do not seem to fully grasp the problem as outlined below, so I would like to make sure you know what I want. Read the description below and if you can answer this question correctly, I will consider your bid. Q: Using the database I supplied, and assuming you have written your code correctly, when I run the program and I select '1002' from the pulldown, how many records are there, and what are the values of 'Part Number' and 'Qty' displayed for each row? ************************************************ I have a few problems with my application that I need expert help with. I have created a simple relational database and a form to display some info. I have set up 2 queries in Access, the first(qryCustInv) is a parameter query which is based on 1 table(CustInv). The second(qryCustInvJoin) is based on 1 table(Parts) left joined with the first query(qryCustInv). In Access, you can use table view of the qryCustInvJoin to add/modify/delete records, which will in turn affect the appropriate rows in CustInv or Parts (depending on the changes). I want a visual basic form which will connect to this database and provide the same functionality as table view of qryCustInvJoin. This form needs a pulldown menu which gets populated on the form load event with the Customer Numbers from the Customers table. When the user selects a number from this pulldown, a grid is populated with the results of qryCustInvJoin providing the selected Customer Number as the parameter. I am including the access database, as well as a partially completed vb project (you will see within it some attempts I have made to make it run). I only need someone to finish this simple app. This should be very easy money for someone familiar with vb6 and database programming. If you do a good job, there may be followup work, as this is only a small piece of a larger project.
