Windows Server 2003 Admin for 6 servers

Server admin needed for several tasks for some new servers

1-Install all ms updates

2-Set user pass for 3 users and disable other non-needed users

3-Set ftp to the wwwroot and to the ftproot folders

4-SET rdc sessions to automatically close after X minutes of inactivity

5-Setup in iis a domain name that I will point to the ip address

6-for the internal network card, make sure that we can ftp to the server via this ip. (all of our servers have 2 nic’s and ips, 1 internal to the network and 1 external, I want to be able to ftp to each of the servers via the internal and external ip’s)

7-close ports that are not needed and give me an output audit of the open and closed ports. Secure the server as much as you can for attacks against FTP,WWW,RDC,SQL. Tell me how before you do.

8-Make sure the server is performing optimal in terms of upload and download speeds. I am not sure if our hosting company throttles anything but I want it to be checked and adjusted if at all possible

I need instructions on your approach to these things and how to operate any of your settings. I have 5 servers for you to do this to.

2 of the servers above will need FTP server software installed. The software is from a company called WSFTP. I prefer that you have used this company before and feel confident you can set it up.

1 of the two servers you will be installing ftp software on you will need to get the users, permissions, and files off of another server and transfer to this server. We need to make sure we move it 100% as is so that we can retire the other server. It was a dedicated ftp server exactly the same as this new one will be
